Breckenridge spring riding. March/April 2012

Last month I went to Breckenridge, Colorado for 10 days and crammed in 9 days of riding. I also went to Woodward at Copper to practise my backflips. Heres my edit I made from the trip. Hope you like it!

11/12 season

So this season my snowboarding has been put back a bit due to studying... but in December I went to Les Deux Alps- the park wasn't built yet but luckily lots of snow fell and we had some nice powder to ride!
I forgot how fun it was to ride off piste in Europe because in Breckenridge the piste patrol take your lift pass off you for 'ducking the ropes'! So my powder riding was a bit rusty but here's a fun edit I made (cheeky bit of me cheating on my snowboard!) :

I will be riding in Breckenridge for two weeks in April for some spring riding so keep checking for another edit around then.

Last day in Les Deux Alpes...

It's now a sad end to a great week in Les Deux Alps for the One Snowboarding camp. Overall ridings been so sick despite two bad weather days and mountain being closed.

I've had quite a progressive week and got back spinning on kickers (which I've had a mental block for about 2 years!). I had a really good day yesterday as I landed some backflips onto an airbag and got my backside 3's back.

There's been lots of filming and photo taking so I will keep you posted with edits and photo's as soon as I get to some good internet!

Summer Travels...

My summer travels started in Croatia where I stayed for 12 days and went to the Hideout festival which lasted 3 days. Such a sick holiday, the festival was amazing with the best line up ever.

At the minute I am in Les Deux Alpes, France, for the One Snowboarding camp. Yesterday was the first day riding, my first day riding a glacier. The park set up is great and loads to go at but hard to get speed very early. Unfortunately mountain was closed today as was too windy so we went to the tree top activity thing and had a sick trampolining session. I got my backflips with a board on the trampoline so lets see if I have the balls to try in up the mountain!

Oakley Grom Games

I had an amazing day at the Grom Games yesterday. It was a sick set up, a good variation and 3 great lines to go at.

I struggled for the first hour of the jam session struggling to land my tricks but then eventually came together....I came 1st in my category then qualified 4th into the finals- proper happy about that as I haven't really competed since last year.

Then I had to leave straight after the finals because I went to my cousins hen party so I got a text from my boyfriend saying that I came 3rd overall wooooo!

Loved watching everyone ride as well last night, well done to Sophie Nicholls and Katie Omerod who I was told came 2nd and 1st overall!

Wicked day and night all in all!

Ladies First Challenge

So I got back today, a day earlier from Anzere, Switzerland.
Turns out the competition unfortunately got cancelled due to lack of snow and wind so I haven't got much to report from the trip.
I haven't got anything else planned yet for the rest of the season but hopefully I'll be able to get out somewhere in Europe to enjoy some snow... or what we have left of it anyway!

...Until then I'll have to make due with some English indoor snow! I will try and put together some edits over the next couple of months from some dome riding...

Breckenridge season 2010/2011

Home!

So I got back home on Tuesday. It's nice too be back and see everyone back at home.

It's took 3 gruelling days to get over the jet lag after not being able to stay in bed after 7.00am and getting shattered by lunch time! But I think I'm over it now!

I'm already getting the blues about looking outside and seeing grey skies rather than bluebird days and mountains out my window! But never the less I'm getting cheered up by editing my Breckenridge season edit which will be up soon...
